Day 1. Perth – Cervantes, Driving Time = 3 hours
Take off for the relaxed fishing town of Cervantes, the gateway to the Pinnacles:

Situated just outside of Cervantes is the Nambung National park home of the Pinnacles. Make sure you get to see the Pinnacles at sunset for the most spectacular viewing

Take in some ocean views from the many lookouts at Hansen Bay
Day 2. Cervantes – Kalbarri, Driving Time = 5 hours
Enjoy the drive from Cervantes past the coastal towns of Geraldton & Dongara, marvel at the following sites just before arriving into Kalbarri town:

The serene colours of the Pink Lake at Port Gregory

Visit any number of Coastal Gorges featuring shear cliff faces that drop straight into the ocean

Upon arriving into town take leisurely walk along the foreshore, stop at Chinaman’s Beach for a quick swim
Day 3. Kalbarri
Start the day’s activities early in the morning to get the most out of your day:

The Murchison River gorges in Kalbarri National Park featuring the Z-Bend and the Loop (Nature’s Window). The Loop provides some great photo opportunities, with Nature’s Window providing the perfect picture frame for the river bed below. The Z-Bend has some fantastic hikes, for those who are feeling fit there is great marked track witch allows you to gradually descend the 150 meters to the bottom the gorge. The Z-Bend also has a good lookout for those not feeling as adventurous.

For an educational and unique experience, visit the Parrot Breeding Centre & brand new Seahorse Sanctuary

Take a sunset cruise up the Murchison river or past the magnificent coastal cliffs
Day 4. Kalbarri – Perth, Drive Time = 7 hours 30 minutes
Say goodbye to Kalbarri, as you take the long drive back to Perth. Make sure you take many breaks, with Dongara being great place to stop for lunch.
