Kings Park Wildflower Festival, 1 September - 1 October 2008
Come and see spectacular displays of wildflowers without even leaving the city. Kings Park is home to the wildflower festival for the whole month of September with different activities happening daily such as art and garden workshops, dancing, singing and much more.

Quit Targa West, 04 - 07 September 2008
Get roadside for one of Australia's most exciting and prestigious tarmac rallies as secures itself as an annual event for Western Australia. Over 100 competitors will drive over a series of exciting and challenging roads in Perths surrounding areas. Entry is free so get out and watch the excitement as it passes you by in towns throughout Toodyay Chittering and Kalamunda shires.
Perth Royal Show, 27 Septeber - 4 October 2008
A favourite with locals both young and old, the Perth Royal Show has been running for more than 160 years and in 2004 was named an icon of Perth city. A combination of Side Show Alley, craft, stalls, entertainment, rides and agriculture make the Perth Royal Show fun for the whole family.
Bibbulmun Track 10th Anniversary - The journey of a decade, 13 September 2008
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the walk trail, the Bibbulmun Track Foundation will be hosting an end to end track walk, finishing in Kalamunda on the anniversary date for a great gathering. The event is free and anyone is welcome to join, so get active and celebrate 10 years of one of Western Australia's great outdoor attractions.
