May Events 2008

This May, make the most of venturing outdoors before the winter months set in with some of these activities to keep the whole family busy.

• Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster, 2 - 18 May
  
  Held each year in Kununurra, this two week festival brings together all that the East Kimberley region has to offer. Throughout the two weeks over 40 indivial events are held including the very popular Air North Kimberley Moon Experience.
  

• V8 Supercar Championships: Barbagallo Raceway, 9 - 11 May
  
  The Perth V8 400 hits Barbagallo Raceway this May for Round 4 of all the speed and excitement. Make a day out with the family as food drinks, souvenirs will be available at the race track.
  
  
  
• Perth Craft and Quilt Fair, 21 - 25 May
  
  A great day out for all lovers of craft. Visitors can join in the interactive craft and quilting classes, watch the professionals at work or view many of the artistic creations of some of the states crafty minded.
  
  
  
• Government House Open Day, 25 May 2008
  
  Visitors will be able to view the public rooms of Government house this month, as well as the gardens and ball room. Entertainment will be provided through out the day, plus a childrens area which will include some zoo animals and a bouncy castle. Bring a picnic or purchase refreshments from the Ball Room.
  
  
• Perth Food and Wine Festival, 30 May 2008
  
  Visit the Perth Convention Cenre on May 30 to experience all that Western Australia's produce growing regions have to offer. Famous Chefs Kate Lamont and Adrian Tobin will be dazzling your tastebuds with an 8 course tasting menu, and wines to match. Ticket prices include all alcohol and food, so get in and purchase your tickets fast.
  
  
• WASO Movie Music for Kids, 25 May 2008
  
  WASO brings your child's favourite movie sountracks to life at the Perth Concert hall on 25 May. Music will include the soundtracks from favourites such as Harry Potter and Charlotte's Web. Come dressed as your favourite movie character to join in on all the fun!
